Fashion inspires the future of Europe In the Pop-up Atelier Europa of Studio Europa Maastricht and FASHIONCLASH, 10 promising young European fashion designers work together to develop various creations within one week. They do this from a glass house at Mosae Forum from 2 to 8 December. Visitors can discover how fashion shapes visions and stories about Europe. On Sunday 8 December the masterpieces will be unveiled during the Maastricht Europe Days closing show in the Eiffel building in Maastricht.
Designers from countries like England, Finland, Ukraine, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Netherlands, Serbia and Russia will get inspired by the Dress to Protest workshops that were organized earlier this year for young people from the Euregion. This group of ten creatives from very diverse backgrounds will translate their experiences from home, their personal creative visions as well as their encounters during their week in Maastricht, into a 'European collection'. The results will be translated in a joint Europe Collection and will be presented in cooperation with young performing artists.
On Sunday 8th of December, everyone is welcome to join for the closing ceremony at Eiffelgebouw of the Maastricht Europe Days where the designers will be presenting their creations.
