WE STAND TOGETHER IN POWER:
join workshops for the fashionclash festival afterparty!

Movement workshops

In these workshops, guided by Yorvique Macaay (he/him), Neele Kamerbeek (she/her) and Laisy de Andrade Rodrigues (she/her), you will discover your unique movement qualities as a way to explore empowerment and unity. You will engage with your individual expression through both body and voice and learn how to embody it fully. By focusing on movement and voice liberation, we create space for personal growth that also connects and inspires others. Through this shared exploration, empowerment becomes a collective strength, where each individual's expression contributes to the power of the group. In a universe of catwalks and runways, the words empowerment, safe space, self-confidence, voice, and togetherness are the central topics of these workshops.

About the workshop hosts

Yorvique Macaay, better known as 'Dictator Of Art', is a multidisciplinary artist from Curaçao. He explores the balance between freedom and power, showing that these forces can work together instead of against each other. The eye, often central in his work, symbolizes his sharp vision and strong sense of purpose. With his deep attention to detail, he is unafraid to take on any social theme, even those seen as taboo or controversial. His creativity is deeply shaped by his multicultural upbringing, where many languages, values, and traditions influenced him and continue to shine through in his art.

Yorvique has created a bold movement style called 'Muse Seduction'. Through runway techniques, positive affirmations, and dance, he helps people build confidence and inner strength. His mission is clear: to help you reclaim your story, stand tall in your power, and become the muse of your own life.

Neele Kamerbeek (Rotterdam, 2000) is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in performance art. Her work blends self-produced music, costume design, and physical performance to explore beauty, understanding, and light in places where darkness prevails. Through grand costumes, transformative characters, and a gentle gaze, she gives shape to her shadow side. Neele is highly versatile, working across disciplines as an actress, mime artist, and costume designer. At the heart of her practice lies a deep focus on music: she is a producer and vocalist, creating immersive soundscapes that complement her visual and performative work. Her fascination with fashion and design plays a key role in shaping the visual world of her performances. Since 2022, Neele has been a co-creator with the location theater group 'COLLECTIEF SPIELPLATZ', where she works as the resident composer. Together, they create site-specific theater in vacant buildings.

Laisy Soleny de Andrade Rodrigues (born in Rotterdam, 2004) is a multidisciplinary performer, theater maker, and musician whose work blends rhythm, vulnerability, and sharp visual storytelling. After graduating as an actor from an MBO theater school (2023), she felt the need to push further towards deeper artistic research and personal expression. Now studying at the Toneelacademie Maastricht, she creates performances that fuse music, spoken word, and image into raw, intimate experiences. With a unique voice shaped by her love for rap, soul, and experimental performance, Laisy doesn't just tell stories – she embodies them.
