The Sneeze

Following the second edition of the FASHIONCLASH Fashion Film Bootcamp that took place in April, the two winning teams started to shoot their fashion short films which were previously pitched with a budget of €5500 and under a guidance of a film maker Daniel van Hauten. With the funding and professional mentorship, the winning creatives explored the clash between fashion and film, as well as all the whole production and technicalities of a making a film.

“The Sneeze” is a relatable, slightly disturbing, portrayal of themes such as taking up space, transformation and queer joy. In this short film the piling up of discomfort leads to a sneeze, a sneeze so loud and intense it transforms them towards a completely unknown space.
