KINKLEID

KINKLEID is a creative research studio developing projects around sustainable practices and textile materials.  Acting as a bridge between disciplines, we connect science, design and activism to move the needle towards a kinder textile ecosystem. 
 
Founded by creative entrepreneur and academic researcher Cristina Palacios, KINKLEID emerged as a response to her first-hand experience with textile engineering and the waste that is often generated. While the norm was to incinerate such waste, she was determined to recycle it. With KINKLEID, Cristina opens a space for honest reflection and interdisciplinary dialogue, bringing scientific insight and systems thinking into the creative space, and contributing to a just transition towards slow fashion.
