Alessandro Trincone

Alessandro Trincone is a designer from Naples, Italy. After graduating from Università La Sapienza di Roma, the Fashion Design and Stylist Masters at IIstituto Europeo di Design in Florence, and his final graduation at Polimoda in Fashion Design, he obtained a scholarship at Osaka Bunka Fashion College in Japan. Alessandro’s professional career started after winning the FASHIONCLASH Festival 2016 Festival Award. “FASHIONCLASH personally helped me a lot. The team is like a huge family, the organization is the best I've ever seen. They really care about the designers and they take care of everything down to the smallest details. They made me realize that I was doing something good, something that inspires people.”

Another highlight of his career was the collaboration with the rapper Young Thug for his album cover in 2016. But the achievement Allesandro is the proudest of is his first official fashion show during New York Fashion Week in 2018. “It was my biggest dream to reach.”

What characterizes Alessandro’s work are experiences with society, mostly negatives. “It is a way to process, grow up personally and professionally. To use bad things and concepts to transform them into positive and beautiful things through my fashion.”I want to learn how to create a new identity that goes over the male and female gender. A neutral gender, unlike unisex, but something new, that goes over it and let you feel yourself. It’s my goal to inspire people and let them feel themselves with my clothes.”
