Ivana Pilja

Ivana Pilja is a fashion designer born in Serbia and currently located in Bonn, Germany. After graduating from the College of Fashion Belgrade in 2010, she started her eponymous brand. Ivana participated in two editions of FASHIONCLASH Festival, in 2010 and 2012. For her first collection, presented at FASHIONCLASH Festival 2010, Ivana won the ELLE Fashion award, Boris Nikolic Award, and she participated twice in the Harbin Fashion Week in China - it is her goal to grow and take over other fashion capitals in China.

Currently Ivana works as a fashion designer for FILA Europe. As she is staying up-to-date with what happens in the world of street style fashion, she is using her own brand to explore creativity, uniqueness and freedom. Ivana’s work is characterized by a sculptural approach to design, cyber, avant-garde and edgy elements. She wants to inspire people globally with her work and wishes that the world will become a place where love and compassion take the place of greed and ignorance. “Fashion is a wonderful journey of life that gives us the ability to build our inner world and share it with others.” 

Her creations have been worn by celebrities such as Lily Allen, Dita von Teese, Paloma Faith and Skin from Skunk Anansie. “FASHIONCLASH Festival is a special event that promotes the true values of fashion. The platform opened doors in the fashion world for me, and I am very happy I had a chance to exhibit my first collection there 10 years ago”
