FASHIONCLASH presents the 2nd edition of Fashion Makes Sense Award (FMSA), an incentive award for new generation fashion designers with innovative and sustainable ideas. -> Voor informatie in het Nederlands naar beneden scrollen
FASHIONCLASH is looking for 10 fashion designers/brands who develop sustainable collections or designers/brands who want to develop them. The FMSA consists of two awards: the audience prize of € 500 and the jury prize of € 2.500.
The aim of the FMSA project is to give the new generation of designers with innovative and sustainable ideas a stage and to encourage designers to think about sustainability. In addition, the project aims to contribute to awareness about sustainable fashion among a broad audience.
The FMSA is an initiative of FASHIONCLASH in collaboration with the Province of Limburg.

Fashion Makes Sense Award
FASHIONCLASH selects 10 designers/labels from all entries. All finalists will present one outfit + collection/moodboard book in the exhibition that will take place from 1st to 7th of October at the Bijenkorf in Maastricht. The award ceremony will take place during the Festive Fashion Dinner of the 34th IAF World Fashion Convention on 9th October 2018. More information about the IAF in application form.
The jury award consists of a sum of money intended for the development of a sustainable collection. This collection will be exhibited during FASHIONCLASH Festival in 2019. For the public award there is an online an offline voting (during the exhibition + IAF Fashion Festive dinner). More info in the application form.
Who can participate? Designers/labels that work sustainable or who want to work in a sustainable way can apply before 1st of August by filling out the application form (click here) and by sending accompanying photo’s/drawings/moodboard of the collection.
FASHIONCLASH will announce the ten finalists around the 10th of August.

Open Oproep Fashion Makes Sense Award 2018
FASHIONCLASH presenteert de 2e editie van de Fashion Makes Sense Award (FMSA), een stimuleringsprijs voor jonge modeontwerpers met innovatieve en duurzame ideeën.
FASHIONCLASH is op zoek naar 10 ontwerpers/labels die duurzame modecollecties ontwikkelen of die deze graag willen ontwikkelen. De FMSA bestaat uit twee awards: de publieksprijs van €500,- en de juryprijs van €2.500,-!
Het doel van dit project is om de nieuwe generatie ontwerpers met vernieuwende en duurzame ideeën een podium te bieden en om ontwerpers te stimuleren om over duurzaamheid na te denken. Tevens draagt het project bij aan bewustwording over duurzaamheid in context van mode bij een breed publiek.
De FMSA is een initiatief van FASHIONCLASH in samenwerking met de Provincie Limburg.

Fashion Makes Sense Award FASHIONCLASH selecteert 10 ontwerpers/labels uit alle inzendingen. De finalisten presenteren ieder 1 outfit + collectie/moodboard boek in de expositie, 1 t/m 7 oktober in de Bijenkorf in Maastricht. De uitreiking van de prijzen zal plaatsvinden tijdens de Festive Fashion Diner van de 34ste IAF World Fashion Convention op 9 oktober 2018. Meer informatie over de IAF in aanmeldingsformulier.
De jury award bestaat uit een geldbedrag dat bedoeld is voor het ontwikkelen van een duurzame collectie. Deze collectie wordt geëxposeerd tijdens het FASHIONCLASH Festival 2019. Voor de publieksprijs is er een online voting en een offline voting (tijdens de expositie + IAF galadiner). Meer info zie aanmeldingsformulier.
Wie kan er deelnemen? Ontwerpers/labels die duurzaam werken of die graag duurzaam willen gaan werken kunnen zich aanmelden voor 1 augustus a.s. d.m.v. het invullen van het aanmeldingsformulier (zie bijlage) en sturen van bijhorende foto’s/tekeningen/mood board van de collectie.
FASHIONCLASH zal rond 10 augustus de 10 finalisten bekendmaken die kans maken om een van de FMSA prijzen te winnen.
