About the FASHIONCLASH Festival Afterparty
On Saturday evening, November 15th, fashion, identity and unity will be celebrated during the Afterparty at Dans- en Partycentrum Bernaards. For this project, FASHIONCLASH collaborates with multidisciplinary artists Yorvique Macaay, Neele Kamerbeek and Laisy de Andrade Rodrigues, who will translate their artistic vision into a memorable evening with music, performances, fashion, visual and spatial design. The dress code is blue.
The FASHIONCLASH Festival Afterparty is an invitation to celebrate the power of unity, empowerment and the importance of making our voices heard. When we all stand individually and authentically in our power, our voice becomes even louder when we unite. Come and celebrate unity through fashion, music, dance and performance. By sharing who we are and embracing each other's individuality, we create a community that is both powerful and inspiring.

“When we stand together, we make our voice louder”
The Afterparty is an invitation to celebrate the power of unity, empowerment and the importance of making our voices heard. Put on your armor; the outfit you feel most powerful in, because through fashion, music, dance, performance and spoken word, we invite you to embrace your individuality that makes you powerful and be part of a community that empowers, supports and uplifts each other. What do you stand for and what makes you feel powerful? We want to invite you to present yourself in the way you feel most powerful.
The FASHIONCLASH Festival Afterparty takes place at Dans-en Partycentrum Bernaards in Maastricht on Saturday 15 November (22:00 – 02:00)
Want to join the Afterparty as a performer or fashion maker?
Leading up to the Afterparty, we invite you to join a series of movement workshops and/or fashion making workshops. The movement workshops are all about empowerment and unity, organized for those who dare to take the stage in a performance during the Afterparty – no experience needed! If you prefer to express your creativity through creating an outfit, you are more than welcome to join one of the fashion making workshops, where you will be working on an outfit for the performers of the movement workshops, or create something for yourself to wear during the Afterparty. It's possible to join both movement workshops and making workshops!
Movement & Voice workshops
In these workshops, guided by Yorvique Macaay (he/him), Neele Kamerbeek (she/her) and Laisy de Andrade Rodrigues (she/her), you will discover your unique movement qualities as a way to explore empowerment and unity. You will engage with your individual expression through both body and voice and learn how to embody it fully. By focusing on movement and voice liberation, we create space for personal growth that also connects and inspires others. Through this shared exploration, empowerment becomes a collective strength, where each individual's expression contributes to the power of the group. In a universe of catwalks and runways, the words empowerment, safe space, self-confidence, voice, and togetherness are the central topics of these workshops.

About the workshop hosts
Yorvique Macaay, better known as 'Dictator Of Art', is a multidisciplinary artist from Curaçao. He explores the balance between freedom and power, showing that these forces can work together instead of against each other. The eye, often central in his work, symbolizes his sharp vision and strong sense of purpose. With his deep attention to detail, he is unafraid to take on any social theme, even those seen as taboo or controversial. His creativity is deeply shaped by his multicultural upbringing, where many languages, values, and traditions influenced him and continue to shine through in his art.
Yorvique has created a bold movement style called 'Muse Seduction'. Through runway techniques, positive affirmations, and dance, he helps people build confidence and inner strength. His mission is clear: to help you reclaim your story, stand tall in your power, and become the muse of your own life.
Neele Kamerbeek (Rotterdam, 2000) is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in performance art. Her work blends self-produced music, costume design, and physical performance to explore beauty, understanding, and light in places where darkness prevails. Through grand costumes, transformative characters, and a gentle gaze, she gives shape to her shadow side. Neele is highly versatile, working across disciplines as an actress, mime artist, and costume designer. At the heart of her practice lies a deep focus on music: she is a producer and vocalist, creating immersive soundscapes that complement her visual and performative work. Her fascination with fashion and design plays a key role in shaping the visual world of her performances. Since 2022, Neele has been a co-creator with the location theater group 'COLLECTIEF SPIELPLATZ', where she works as the resident composer. Together, they create site-specific theater in vacant buildings.
Laisy Soleny de Andrade Rodrigues (born in Rotterdam, 2004) is a multidisciplinary performer, theater maker, and musician whose work blends rhythm, vulnerability, and sharp visual storytelling. After graduating as an actor from an MBO theater school (2023), she felt the need to push further towards deeper artistic research and personal expression. Now studying at the Toneelacademie Maastricht, she creates performances that fuse music, spoken word, and image into raw, intimate experiences. With a unique voice shaped by her love for rap, soul, and experimental performance, Laisy doesn't just tell stories – she embodies them.
Nello & Lenny
Together with Neele Kamerbeek, Laisy forms the DJ duo 'Nello&Lenny' that approaches playing music not simply as "spinning at parties," but as a form of performance in itself – a ritual of connection. Their sets bring together people of different backgrounds, beliefs, and identities, transforming the dance floor into a shared, transcendent space. While traveling the world with their music, they carry their audience with them both literally and emotionally.
