FASHIONCLASH at TEFAF Global Advisory Board Dinner 2026

For the TEFAF Global Advisory Board dinner 2026, FASHIONCLASH was invited to present a performance celebrating local talent and Limburg traditions. In collaboration with fashion designer Emma Magermans and students from Toneelacademie Maastricht, a live fashion performance was staged with singing by Demi Overmars.

At the heart of the performance was Magermans' graduate collection Raveille — rooted in South Limburg traditions such as the Bronk, a centuries-old ritual of communal gathering and ceremonial costume. A recent graduate of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Magermans draws on local heritage not out of nostalgia, but as living material to be reimagined. Her collection translates elements of traditional dress into contemporary silhouettes, combining crêpe paper, neoprene and 3D-printed details in a dialogue between fragility and innovation.

Raveille is an ode to the sense of community that defines South Limburg — traditions not preserved under glass, but worn into the present.

Performers: Minne de Boer, Nona Schenk, Marte Morel, Nora Klimsop, Elise Ogrinc, Demi Overmars.
