Future Human Connectivity Devices
Directed by Yiwei Huang
What kind of social world are we choosing to build? Set in a future where society prioritises remote living in isolated personal bubbles and technology has become increasingly efficient and automatic, Future Human Connectivity Devices reimagines everyday rituals of connection: sharing a drink, sending flowers, or borrowing ingredients. As these objects and gestures may appear unnecessary today, they become essential within a hyper-antisocial future. By celebrating the value of authentic interaction, the film reflects on the development of technology and society in our constantly changing world.
