Beyond the main festival venues, FASHIONCLASH invites visitors to discover fashion across Maastricht through exhibitions, installations, talks and other activities at various locations throughout the city.
At S.A.C.59 / Space for Art & Culture on Rechtstraat, work of Piet Paris, Seeing Black and Dre Drevens present a group exhibition bringing together different perspectives on fashion and visual culture.
At Limestone Books, visitors can discover a selection of independent fashion publications, highlighting diverse voices and approaches within contemporary fashion.
At Townhouse Design Hotel, sustainable and innovative designer Ruben Jurriën presents his work. On Saturday 14 November from 15:00–16:00, Ruben also gives a Designer Talk on all sizes, exploring questions around size, fashion and inclusivity.
At Galerie Post + García, the FASHIONCLASH collection by Teigetje & Woelrat dives into a world of checkered patterns, contrasting knitwear and leather, and a playful, carnavalesque aesthetic. The collection explores the space between contemporary design and the theatrical spirit of carnival, using bright colours and extravagant gestures. All pieces are designed and made by the four designers and makers of the studio, from the initial thread to the final hand-finished details.
