The CLASH House & CLASHLAB
The CLASH House is the festival’s fashion performance programme and one of the highlights of FASHIONCLASH Festival. Taking place on Saturday evening, 14 November, in the impressive Peutz Hall at ENCI in Maastricht, the programme brings together fashion and performance in a dynamic showcase of new work.
The CLASH House serves as a showcase and development platform for emerging makers working across fashion and performance. Through a creative coaching trajectory, ten participants explore alternative ways of creating and presenting fashion, culminating in live performances during the festival. On the evening, Nouka Rous, Paco Teepe, Isa Hazelager, Anna Strengers, Emma Magermans, Larissa de Jager, Dies van Herk, Amy Pratt, Aron Saxe Lydon and Soojeong Lee present their collections through performance.
Thanks to the support of the Meester Koetsier Foundation, one of the participants will receive a grant of €2,500.
The second award is the FASHIONCLASH Festival 2026 TIM Award, supported by Textile Innovation Maastricht. One of the ten participants will receive a development prize valued at up to €1,500 excl. VAT, including access to the machinery and knitting facilities at Qeske Maastricht, expert guidance and materials to further develop their winning design. Curious to explore the possibilities of innovative and circular textile production?

The third prize is made possible through a collaboration between PFAFF and Stitchlie. One participant will win a refurbished sewing machine, giving it a second life and offering a great opportunity to bring creative ideas to life. The prize also includes one year of free Stitchlie membership, giving the winner access to a platform full of inspiring sewing projects, creative tutorials and helpful videos explaining how to use and get the most out of their sewing machine.
The Clash House will be judged by Jana Patočková, a fashion editor at Vogue CS, journalist and author, Donald Gjoka, creative director and publisher, Anna Barr, global content editor at FY! Magazine, Philippe Pourhashemi, fashion journalist, coach and consultant, Mira Postolache, visual artist, editor, educator, and founder of MIRA W. Studio and Jade Thompson, freelance writer and copywriter. The whole evening will be moderated by Filep Motwary, editor-at large at Vogue Greece, independent Fashion Curator, author and film critic, and director and photographer.
As a pre-programme to The CLASH House, CLASHLAB brings together makers from fashion, dance and music as equal creative partners. Rather than placing one discipline in service of another, they work together from the start, allowing their ideas, methods and practices to influence and challenge one another.
For the 2026 edition, fashion designer Teun Seuren, choreographer Daniëlle Huyghe and musician Nader Adabnejad come together during a two-week residency to develop a short performance. The outcome is not defined in advance: through experimentation and exchange, the three makers discover what emerges from the encounter between their different disciplines.
CLASHLAB is a collaboration between FASHIONCLASH, Musica Sacra, Nederlandse Dansdagen, SALLY, Intro in Situ, schrit_tmacher Festival, Munttheater and Via Zuid, creating space for artistic experimentation, talent development and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
CLASHLAB is made possible in part by Stichting Kanunnik Salden and De Hustinx Stichting.
