MADE IN X
Directed by Sofia Ivanova Kozhevnikova
Made in X follows the story of a young immigrant navigating life on the margins of society that sees her as a label instead of an independent person. She uses traditional garments, textures, and memories as tools of resistance and an escape from her daily struggles and discrimination. Fashion translates into a language of identity and protest and explores how origin defines worth for both fashion and people.
