Remember Me
Directed by Kees de Klein, Marco Blazevic, and Meike van Lelyveld
Remember Me is a true-crime fashion mockumentary that follows a group of people in their pursuit of breakthrough, visibility, and finding their place in fashion’s collective memory. In their desperate attempts to be remembered, they discover that the most meaningful legacies are the ones built in community, not spectacle, and what truly matters are the memories created together on the way. The film transforms upcycling into a narrative, since all costumes, sets, and styling are made entirely from upcycled materials, while the characters themselves are upcycled from fashion’s history: clichés, archetypes, and references that haunt the industry’s imagination.
