Zélig Davoult, a graduate from the Institut Français de la Mode, reinterprets everyday archetypes—workwear, tailoring, sportswear—into garments carrying political and social meaning. His graduate collection  ‘VIENDRA LE TEMPS DU FEU’  (“The Time of Fire Will Come”) frames the street as a stage of protest, tension, and resistance. Uniforms, protest symbols, and protective silhouettes explore clothing as both shield and manifesto.

This collection treats the street as a space of tension between order and disorder, inspired by contemporary protest imagery. Silhouettes merge authority uniforms with militant iconography to create garments of resistance, oscillating between protection, disappearance, and defiance.

Zélig Davoult, afgestudeerd aan het Institut Français de la Mode, transformeert alledaagse kleding—workwear, tailoring en sportswear—tot stukken met politieke en sociale betekenis. Zijn afstudeercollectie  ‘VIENDRA LE TEMPS DU FEU’  (“De tijd van het vuur zal komen”) plaatst de straat als podium voor protest, spanning en verzet. Uniformen, protestsymbolen en beschermende silhouetten laten zien hoe kleding zowel kan beschermen als een statement kan maken.

De collectie onderzoekt de straat als een plek vol spanning tussen orde en chaos. Silhouetten combineren autoriteitsuniformen met militante iconografie, waardoor kleding ontstaat die verzet uitstraalt en beweegt tussen bescherming, verdwijnen en rebellie.
