Within the theme of the campaign image of this year’s edition of FASHIONCLASH Festival (sneak peek: it’s referred to the world of sports), FASHIONCLASH is organizing 3 workshops in creating avant-garde mascots! These MASCOTS will be presented at the 'FASHIONCLASH Festival Official After Party' in The Student Hotel Maastricht on Saturday 26 November.

The 14th edition of FASHIONCLASH Festival will take place from 25 - 27 November 2022.

The MASCOT workshops will take place on Friday 23 September, Saturday 24 September and Sunday 25 September from 10:00 to 17:00 at The Masters Maastricht. You can sign up for 1 day of your choice.

No experience is required for this workshop; there will be an assistant fashion designer assigned to you to help you with your design. We will start the workshop day with a short introduction on MASCOT and we will give you some ideas and examples on how to create your MASCOT. Even though you are completely free in the creation of your work, it does have to be in line with the theme of the campaign of FASHIONCLASH Festival 2022, which we will explain to you in the introduction.

FASHIONCLASH provides materials and equipment for creating the mascots. With a focus on sustainability, we will mainly work with recycled materials. We also encourage you to bring your own materials such as old clothing, textile and accessories!

Please note: we have only 5 spots available per day, so apply on time! Application deadline: Wednesday 7 September 2022.

The costs for participating in this workshop are €7.50*. You will receive a payment link for this after your application. All materials, lunch and coffee/tea are included. We will contact you in advance for your lunch preference.

The workshop location is The Masters, Hoogbrugstraat 42, 6221 CS Maastricht.
