FASHIONCLASH was invited to bring fashion to the first edition of PUUR Culinair, a new sensory celebration organised by Maastricht Heuvelland Culinair at the beautiful Château St. Gerlach. The event brought together top chefs — including Robert Levels of Restaurant Château Neercanne, Guido Le Bron de Vexela of Les Salons, Hans van Wolde (Brut172), Guido Braeken (Create), Robin van de Bunt (de Leuf), Servais Tielman (Beluga), Hans Kinkartz (Atelier), Bart Ausems (Tout à Fait), Maurice Huynen (Hoeve de Bies) — presenting refined dishes and local delicacies from the Zuid-Limburg region, accompanied by local wines, beers, music, dance and fashion.
FASHIONCLASH curated a fashion presentation featuring work by local designers Max Niereisel, Emma Magermans and Senna Cuenen, brought to life by student models, all students from the Toneelacademie Maastricht. The presentation celebrated the creative talent emerging from the region and added a distinctive fashion dimension to the afternoon programme.
The event also featured a musical preview by Dick Kingma, offering a first taste of his graduation production De Laatste Revue op de Aarde — a promising glimpse of new work from the next generation of Maastricht theatre makers.
Next to fashion, there was a dance duet by Patrizio Bucci and Marika Meoli, opera singer Janine Kitzen and music.
PUUR Culinair is a welcome new platform connecting the culinary, cultural and creative strengths of the region. FASHIONCLASH is proud to have been part of its first edition.
