WHAT’S IN THE BAG
Directed by Hildegard Oehler and Stee Van Stark
Inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin’s 1986 essay The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction, What’s in the Bag explores how social media, online communication, brands, and memes are shaping the way humans evolve and communicate. The bag becomes both an everyday object and one of fashion’s most desired accessories. By bringing together different stories, identities, and forms of communication, the film asks how these objects and digital spaces shape who we are and whether we have finally found our place in the world.
