Together, Jinmin Chen and Cenyi Wang form the design collective C.PROTOCOL. They believe that long before civilization and social orders were formed, humans were already looking toward something beyond definition. By approaching, seeking to understand, and remaining in awe of the unknown, they form the starting point of C.PROTOCOL’s world, which explores the relationship between humans, the body, objects, and the unfamiliar within future civilizations.

‘Symbiotic Rendering · Hertz’ is set in an imagined post-human operating room, where AI and digital systems have moved beyond the screen and become embedded within the body as new sensory interfaces. As the body is no longer being repaired but transformed, vision, touch, hearing, and perception are extended and recalibrated. Fashion becomes part of this transformation as a visible structure of the new body itself, rather than simply clothing the body.
