Gloria Tomassucci investigates the production, circulation, and consumption of fashion through a queer, transfeministlens. By approaching garments as fluid objects, they question established systems and forms of desire. Together with Gabriele Bonzanini, they founded “extraCURRICULAR”, a practice that explores alternative forms of engaging with fashion, exposing its contradictions, and questioning the systems that shape it.

‘An Amateur Manifesto (ongoing)’ is an investigation expanding the research initiated through Tomassucci, exploring the possibilities of making fashion through an amateur approach. Taking the form of a garment and a zine, ‘An Amateur Manifesto (ongoing)’ documents the process as both a method and the subject of the work that unfolded between Venice and London, where memories, dysphoria, uncertainty, and limited materials become critical conditions.
