Johannes Hartmann is an interdisciplinary artist combining fashion design and transmedia art. 

Since the 19th century, Stockman mannequins have stood in couture windows and workshops around the world, shaping ideas of the “ideal” body. The collection ‘Semi Couture (wiener papierkörbe 30486)’ reinterprets the body for the bin. Vienna’s street trash cans, called Wiener Papierkörbe, become the new mannequins, dressed with the same care and craft as couture once reserved for the human form.
