KENOSI : into the void
Inspired by learning, experimentation, and fashion history, Eliana Anania explores what has been, what exists, and what is yet to come. Through research and a curious approach to design, she creates collections that communicate emotions and new perspectives.
The collection ‘KENOSI : into the void’ explores the paradox of self-emptying: in order to find oneself, one must first accept getting lost. Inspired by Ernesto De Martino’s research into possession and Southern Italian traditions, Ananiaexplores the space between the sacred and the profane. Deconstructed clerical garments and adaptive layers create unstable, ever-changing silhouettes, reflecting a journey through darkness, transformation, and rebirth.
