FASHIONCLASH Festival is an international and interdisciplinary fashion platform for new generation of designer and artists. The program with Fashion Shows, Exhibitions, designer Market, Theatre and Dance Performances, and FASHIONCLASH Side Program, gives promising talents the opportunity to show their work to a broad and various international audiences and industry professionals.The spectacular program of the 6th edition will bring together more than 100 designers and artists from 30 countries.

Where, When & What?
Location: SAMdecorfabriek, located at Meerssenerweg 215, behind Station Maastricht.
Entrance: Admission for the Exhibition, Market and most of the Side Program is for free. To attend the fashion shows there is a ticket sale.

FASHIONCLASH Market is a designer market where you can see and buy unique fashion, jewellery and accessories by young designers. Free Entrance. Cash Only.

FASHIONCLASH Side Program is an accompanying program spread across various locations in Maastricht with pop-up stores, exhibitions, lectures, Film Fashion Night Out and events in selected boutiques and cultural spots in Maastricht. FASHIONCLASH Side Program is a curated selection of what 'Fashion City Maastricht' has to offer. Official opening of FASHIONCLASH Side Program takes place with a fashion show at De Bijenkorf from 7 p.m. on Thursday June 12.

FASHIONCLASH Festival is hèt internationale en interdisciplinaire mode platform voor een nieuwe generatie ontwerpers en kunstenaars. Het spectaculaire programma van de 6de editie met Modeshows, Expositie, designer Market, Theater en Dans Performances, Clash Project en FASHIONCLASH Side Program, brengt meer dan 100 ontwerpers en kunstenaars afkomstig uit 30 landen samen. FASHIONCLASH Festival geeft veelbelovend talent de mogelijkheid om hun werk te tonen aan een breed internationaal publiek.
FASHIONCLASH Festival is een unieke gelegenheid om talent te ontdekken en om geïnspireerd te raken door de kunst van mode. FASHIONCLASH Festival is voor iedereen toegankelijk, kom en vier het mee!
Waar, Wat en Wanneer
Locatie De SAMdecorfabriek, Meerssenerweg 215, achter Station Maastricht. FASHIONCLASH Side Program, 12 – 15 juni diverse locaties in de binnenstad.
Entree Toegang voor de Expositie, de Market en het meeste van het Side Program is gratis. Voor het Modeshow programma is er kaartverkoop. Kaarten zijn verkrijgbaar in de voorverkoop via http://fashionclash.nl/tickets/ en op de locatie tijdens het festival.
Programma SAMdecorfabriek
Modeshows Het modeshow programma is een podium waar 40 aanstormende mode talenten hun collecties tonen maar waar je ook bijzondere dans - en theaterperformances kan zien. Terug op de catwalk dit jaar zijn de collecties van mode studenten van MAFAD (Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht). Kaarten zijn verkrijgbaar via www.fashionclash.nl.
Distingiushed Dreams & (OLD)Fashion(ed) In samenwerking met de Nederlandse Dansdagen ontwikkelde FASHIONCLASH twee bijzondere projecten. Voor Distingiushed Dreams maken 10 succesvolle jonge choreografen en modeontwerpers in duo's samen een werk, gebaseerd op hun gezamenlijke fascinaties. (OLD)Fashion(ed) is een samenwerking met de Nederlandse Dansdagen èn Museum aan het Vrijthof. In het project (OLD)Fashion(ed) ontwerpen een vijftal duo’s van ambachtslieden en jonge modeontwerpers een kledingcollectie en bijbehorende accessoires. Deze collecties worden getoond tijdens FASHIONCLASH Festival 2014, Festival de Nederlandse Dansdagen (oktober 2014) en in Museum aan het Vrijthof (najaar 2014), gedragen door modellen van 65 jaar en ouder, in dansante shows gemaakt door gerenommeerde choreografen.
Verweven 2014 Een project van theater performer Nina Willems. In Verweven worden verhalen verteld van gewone mensen achter de kleren die ze dragen. Deze verhalen zijn uitgangspunt voor nieuwe ontwerpen.
Clash project (6th edition) 10 niet-modeontwerpers vertalen hun visie over mode in een outfit voor de catwalk.
Expositie 'Leeftijd' en de kunst van het ouder worden in de breedste zin van het woord is het thema voor deze 6de editie. De expositie is samengesteld met werk van ontwerpers waarin het thema een rol speelt. De projecten (OLD)Fashion(ed), Verweven en Clash project zijn te zien op de catwalk en in de Expositieruimte. Toegang is gratis.
FASHIONCLASH Market Ben je op zoek naar bijzondere fashion items, accessoires of sieraden van nieuwe ontwerpers en labels bezoek dan de designer market in de SAMdecorfabriek. Toegang is gratis en betaalwijze is 'cash only'.
FASHIONCLASH Side Program 12 t/m 15 juni, diverse locaties in Maastricht
FASHIONCLASH Side Program is een flankerend programma verspreid over diverse locaties in Maastricht met pop-up stores, exposities, lezingen, Fashion Film Night Out en events in geselecteerde boetieks, horeca en culturele instellingen in Maastricht. FASHIONCLASH Side Program is een boeket van wat Mode Maastricht te bieden heeft. Het programma wordt geopend met modeshows bij De Bijenkorf op 12 juni (vanaf 19 uur, toegang gratis). Aansluitend kun je bij de Fashion Film Night Out at Lumière Cinema genieten van korte mode films (kaarten te koop bij filmhuis Lumière)
